Admin logs and support tools

The admin logs and support tools are the console panels for outbound and inbound email logs, support tickets with attachments, error logs, audit logs, and system logs. Only administrator accounts see these panels.

This reference explains the term, its purpose, a practical example, common use cases, where it appears in Rima, and the closest product visual.
The Rima dashboard
Administrators reach the admin console from the Admin link in the navbar; regular accounts never see it.

Definition

The admin logs and support tools are the console panels for outbound and inbound email logs, support tickets with attachments, error logs, audit logs, and system logs. Only administrator accounts see these panels.

What it is for

Administrators use them to answer support tickets, verify that emails were sent and received, investigate errors, and audit admin and account actions.

How it works

  • Email Logs filters outbound email by category, status, search text, and sort; View on a sent row opens the full email details.
  • Inbound Emails searches messages routed into the app and opens each one’s body and details.
  • Support Tickets filters by open, closed, or all status plus search; tickets with attachments include a link to open the attachment.
  • Error Logs filters server warnings and errors by level, search text, and From/To datetimes.
  • Audit Logs lists time, actor, action, target, and metadata for admin and account actions.
  • System Logs shows recent application activity.

Example

A user reports a missing password-reset email. An administrator filters Email Logs for that address, sees the send failed, checks Error Logs around the same time, and replies through the user’s support ticket.

Common use cases

  • Confirm whether a specific email was sent or failed.
  • Inspect inbound emails used by email-based test steps.
  • Work through open support tickets and view their attachments.
  • Trace who performed an admin action via the audit trail.
  • Investigate server errors within a time window.

Where to find it

Administrators open /admin from the Admin link in the navbar, then the Email Logs, Inbound Emails, Support Tickets, Error Logs, Audit Logs, or System Logs panels from the Admin Data cards.

Limitations, requirements, and permissions

  • Admin-only: an administrator session is required for every panel.
  • Email and error log page sizes are fixed by the interface.
  • Failed email rows may show error text instead of a View action; attachment links appear only on tickets that have attachments.
  • Audit and system logs are read-only.
