Definition

A coupon is a discount code that an eligible workspace can apply during subscription checkout.

What it is for

It reduces the subscription price according to the coupon’s configured value and validity.

How it works

  • Enter the code during Stripe subscription checkout; a valid coupon applies its configured percentage discount.
  • Coupons carry a discount percent and a maximum number of uses, and can be revoked.
  • Rima administrators create and manage coupons in the admin console; approved bounty rewards can also arrive as coupons.

Example

Enter a valid launch coupon during checkout to apply the advertised discount to the workspace subscription.

Common use cases

  • Promotional pricing.
  • Partner discounts.
  • Time-limited offers.
  • Administrator-issued account credits.

Where to find it

Enter the code during the subscription flow. Rima administrators create, edit, and revoke coupons in the admin console.

Limitations, requirements, and permissions

  • A coupon must be valid, unrevoked, and under its use limit to apply.
  • Discounts are percentage-based (0–100) as configured by the administrator.
